The South India Campaign

In June 2025, we launched our first large-scale outreach campaign across South India, targeting student communities in states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Telangana. The campaign aimed to introduce the idea of professionally organized, high-quality online MUNs to institutions often overlooked in national circuits.

🌍 Reach: 40+ schools contacted, 15+ presentations delivered
📣 Activities: Awareness sessions, live MUN simulations, delegate training
👥 Impact: Engaged 1200+ students, onboarded 7 schools as partners
🛠 Outcomes: Strong delegation interest for UNITE 2025, increased regional recognition

In June 2025, the Global MUN Nexus team embarked on its first-ever regional outreach — the South India Campaign. As a student-led initiative stepping out into the real world for the first time, this journey was as transformative for us as it was for the students we met. Over the span of several weeks, we visited numerous institutions, conducted impactful sessions, and introduced hundreds of students — many from underrepresented or underserved regions — to the world of diplomacy and leadership through Model United Nations. This wasn’t just about outreach; it was about connection. We listened to stories, shared our own, and left each school with a renewed sense of purpose. For us, the campaign solidified one thing: the demand for accessible, engaging, and high-quality international platforms for youth is immense — and we are just getting started. The South India Campaign has become the foundation upon which the Global MUN Nexus will build its nationwide and international growth, creating a movement that aims to inspire, unite, and empower the next generation of changemakers.
